DIY Double-Sided Clipboard with Chalkboard and Dry Erase Tape

These clipboards are double-sided for double the fun, helping kids stay creative piece drawing and writing with chalk and rainless erase markers. You can take them with you in the car happening road trips or on an airplane, even over to a friend's house to craft and color together!

Supplies for Double-Sided Clipboards:

  • clipboard
  • scissors
  • Scotch® Blackboard and Dried Erase tape
  • Scotch® Epithelial duct Tape Panthera tigris and White Tiger patterns… roar!
  • chalk and dry erase markers
  • pass off cloth operating theatre a spare sock – we use microfiber cloths and they forg great!

DIY Clipboard Making Supplies

1. First, outset by deciding which of the tapes you'll wear which side. IT genuinely doesn't matter what you choose.

2. Roll out a section of tape and add it to your board. Start with the middle division 1st. Press it down and remove any bubbles. I was able to get 4 tapes wide, going vertically. NOTE: you could add your tape horizontally with about 5-6 tapes crossways.

My favorite thing just about this specialty videotape is it's removable. You father't have to worry if you get it down on the room and there is a eruct OR it isn't connected flat. It's very forgivable when introductory adding it to the clipboard!

Also, you don't need to occupy about the bottom edge of your tape, just thin out them polish off within a 1/4 inch approximately from the edge. The border tape will cover that up. Although you will need to keep the top straight by the clip on the board, as that area won't be blanketed by a border in this tutorial.

3. Extend to add tape to your clipboard until you have it totally over. NOTE: you leave have lines in between each line of magnetic tape and it can make coloring with the crank a little jagged. My girls didn't appear to mind :)

4. Flip your board over and recur step #2 & #3 for the past type of tape so you have IT on some sides of the clipboard.

5. Choose a fun color or pattern of duct tape for a border. Straighten a plane section to MBD to the 2 long sides first. Place them half on one side of meat, flip the board, and fold information technology terminated to personify added to the some other side.

6. Add a border to the bottom of your clipboard next. Then add a segment to the top. For the top presence side, cut out a section of videotape to account for the clip. Observe: if you get into't have enough tape to reach for a consistent border, add a little extra to that section.

Bakshish: To make this travel well, place the markers and cloth in a plastic baggie and duct tape the baggie to combined edge of the instrument panel, twinned it's border. Now information technology's with you all over you go!
